About these Beta Terms. HoldaCARE is in an invited beta. These terms describe the beta as it stands today, and our full Terms of Use are with legal counsel. They will replace this, and we will tell you when they do rather than quietly swapping the page.
HoldaCARE is built for caregivers — to help you organize care for someone you care about while also making space for your own needs and well-being. These terms are meant to be read, so they are short and in plain words.

HoldaCARE is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It is somewhere to organise care and look after yourself while you give it. Nothing in the app — including Holda's guidance, recipes, or wellness content — is a substitute for your doctor, pharmacist, or care team.
In an emergency, call emergency services. Emergency Mode exists to help you reach people quickly. Emergency Mode does not automatically contact emergency services, your contacts, or HoldaCARE. You choose when and how to use it.
Check anything that matters. Medication details, appointments, notes, and other information in HoldaCARE are based on what you enter. HoldaCARE stores this information but does not independently verify its accuracy.
Who can use it
This Beta is for invited testers aged 18 or older whose primary residence is in Indiana. You may use HoldaCARE while traveling outside Indiana. Your account is for your individual use, so please keep your sign-in information private.
What it costs
The Beta is free. There are no subscription charges or in-app purchases during this phase of the Beta.
What you put in
What you write stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your notes, journal entries or documents, and we do not use them to train anything.
You are responsible for what you record — including that you are entitled to record information about the person you care for. Please only add what you reasonably need to look after them.
What a beta means
- HoldaCARE is still being tested and improved, so features may change during the Beta.
- You may occasionally encounter bugs or interruptions. In rare cases, a technical issue could affect saved information, so please keep a separate copy of anything especially important to you.
- The service may occasionally be temporarily unavailable while we make fixes or improvements.
- If we end the Beta or need to change your access, we will provide notice and information about retrieving your data whenever reasonably possible.
Using it fairly
Please don't attempt to break into other people's accounts, interfere with the service, or use it to store anything unlawful. We may suspend access that does.
Legal terms under review
Our full Terms will cover the usual formal ground — warranties, limits of liability, governing law and how disputes are handled. Those need proper legal drafting, and we would rather leave them out of a provisional notice than guess at them. Until they are published, nothing here is intended to remove any right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
